Twilight Movie Cast Bios: Robert Pattinson
Robert Pattinson was born on May 14 1986 in London, England. He had a great interest in sports. He would often play football, and many other sports. He was also really interested in music, he played several instruments like the guitar.
At 15 years, he started to become and actor. He was in several novice- acting plays until he got a role in Ring of the Nibelung, a German TV Movie
It wasn't until 2003 when he got the role of Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The director Mike Newell knew almost automatically that he was perfect for the role.
Now he is currently filming in Twilight, as Edward Cullen, and has received several awards like British star of tomorrow, and was named in VH1.com’s Hottest Hunks Under 25.
Characterization
Edward is described in the book and by Bella as being charming, polite, determined, and very stubborn. He is very protective over Bella and puts her safety, humanity and welfare before anything else. He often over-analyzes situations and has a tendency to overreact, especially in situations where Bella's safety is at risk. He retains some outdated speech from his human life in the early 20th century. Edward sees himself as a monster, and after falling in love with Bella, he desperately wishes that he were human instead of a vampire.
